How To Get Rich Online vs How To Look Rich Online

Spread the love

There are plenty of wealthy people in this world. However, there are more people who try to look rich rather than be rich.

Today’s post will focus on how to get rich online vs how to look rich online.

We live in a world of ‘image’ and vanity. People are trying to look rich without actually putting in the time and effort to be rich. It’s a lazy approach to a dream lifestyle. However, what I want to know is what does wealth mean to you? Is it a big bank rich?balance? is it having a fast car or a big house? Or is it being healthy and having a family? Is it being able to provide for your family?

What The Word ‘RICH’ Means To Me

The dictionary describes the word rich as ‘having a great deal of money or assets; wealthy.’ Of course having a healthy or large bank balance does class you as rich. There are many people out there who would do anything to be rich. They would do anything to have the cars the houses the boats and holiday homes. However, there is one thing a lot of these types of people will not do to become rich. That one thing is work for it. Anyone can become rich or wealthy if they put the time and effort in. But people don’t want to. We live in a lazy time.

The word rich means several things to me. Yes, of course it means having millions in the bank, the houses, the cars etc but also to be rich means having things that money cannot buy. For example, good health, family, loved ones and also memories.

Obviously you can create amazing memories with money there is absolutely no doubt about that. However, what about seeing your family grow into the world? How about seeing you child take it’s first steps or say their first word? What about teaching them to swim or ride a bike? What about just being blessed enough to have a healthy family? To me that’s being rich. Now, don’t get me wrong, I would love a Lamborghini on the drive outside my 15 bedroom house. However, I’d personally choose my family and health over that any day of the week.

How To Look Rich Online

Believe me, there are many people who look rich online that actually aren’t. I know people online myself who portray wealth online but actually are struggling to pay the gas bill. Why are they struggling to pay the gas bill? Quite simply, because they’re trying to look rich online.

Pictures of fake designer or replica watches, replica trainers and designer clothing. Cars that are leased or financed to the moon and back. All of this is to pretend to be something they are not. I know someone who drives a Volkswagen UP. This is a small bubble car with a 1l engine. Yes it’s not the nicest of vehicles. However, the person driving it has a healthy bank balance. Why? Simply because he is not bothered about impressing others. He holidays and goes on vacation when he wants and pretty much buys what he wants, all because he doesn’t try to impress others with fake material items.

So how can you look rich online? How do people do it? It’s actually a lot easier than you would think. You could lease or rent a sports car for a few days. I know someone who rented a Range Rover Sport for a week. They then gave it back when the week was up and told people it had to go back due to issues with the engine. I know people that go to markets and buy replica jewellery and designer clothes to look rich. I even know of people who buy 2nd hand clothing off eBay and pay £100 for a top instead of £600 for the real deal, brand new in a box.

I have known people to take photos next to expensive cars in showrooms or test-driving cars with the caption shall I buy? All over their Instagram page. Screen shots of £1,000,000,000 houses with the captions of ‘viewing this tomorrow’. It’s so easy to do and it’s so easy to believe. I know of a supposed trader who actually just lives off of his brother who is a trader. He posts pictures in sports cars and in the massive house his brother lives in yet he just lodges there.

What Happens When They Get Found Out?

To be honest, quite simply, they look stupid. How can you believe anything they say ever again? Especially if they are portraying a lavish lifestyle in order to gain an income from others. For example if a trader or online marketer is spouting about how they can make you rich like them and so on, then you find out this is all an act that will instantly collapse their business or reputation. This not only wipes out any chance of an income from potential referrals or clients it makes them look completely stupid.

Is It Worth The Lie?

Absolutely not. Why pretend to be rich and constantly live a lie when you can quite simply work your nuts off and become rich for real? Not only can you then live the lifestyle you desire, but you get a sense of achievement and know that everything you have or will have has come from your hard work and nobody can take that away from you,

How To Get Rich Online vs How To Look Rich Online – My Final Thoughts

For me, there is only one winner, BEING RICH. Don’t pretend to be something you’re not. Work for it, set an example for your friends and children. Remember being rich isn’t all about money. In my opinion, if you work, if you provide for yourself or your family, if you feed your children, if you are healthy, if you have running water, a roof over your head then you, my friend, are rich.

We all live in this world of thinking nothing is ever good enough and we are never satisfied. I myself am one of these people. I wanted a particular house, I got it through hard work, I now want a bigger house. I wanted a particular car, I got it through hard work, I now want a better car. That’s natural, but the difference is I worked for what I want and I got it, so the world is my oyster. That’s the outlook we should all have. If you want something, work your butt off until you get it. Simple as. There is only one winner from hard work, you and your loved ones. End of.

Very true observation dude. So many people are out comparing themselves to what they see on social media and then feeling bad about their own lives. Not realising that a lot of these people are just pretenders. This is one of the main reasons I no longer use social media, unless it’s for business. Well pointed out. Kudos.

Hi Gareth, thanks for your comment. Social media does have a negative effect when it comes to things like making people feel down about themselves. However, he is the loudest in the room is normally the weakest. Thanks again

  2. Hello – I couldn’t agree with you more about today’s society is lazy. No one wants to put in the work. You are right about the expensive cars just to park in the driveway, what’s the point if you can’t pay your gas bill. To me, being rich isn’t about the money, it’s about family, relationships, your health and giving back, helping others. Thanks for a very well written article to remind us to do a reality check.
